晓看红湿处，华重车士活。2022年9月24日至10月1日，澳大利亚悉尼车士活中华文化中心将盛装迎来酝酿已久的《2022澳大利亚艺术家邀请展》。
本届邀请展将以“美丽故乡“为主题，荟萃来自澳大利亚，意大利罗马，中国香港，中国大陆等中西著名艺术家的60余幅精品创作，为观众呈上连续七日的视觉盛宴。艺术家们将通过丰富多样的艺术题材，异彩纷呈的表现形式以及神采各异的创作风格，抒发对美丽故乡的深情赞美，咏颂对美好生活的热切向往。展览期间，组委会每天都会邀请中西著名艺术家当场挥笔泼彩，现场创作的作品将作为抽奖奖品，赠予到场的幸运观众。冠名赞助商賦腾集团还准备了神秘大礼，为到场嘉宾带来惊喜。

I was delighted to be asked by Greg Li to join in curating the “Beautiful Hometown’ exhibition.
The exhibition celebrates the diversity of artists from Australia, China, Hong Kong· and Italy. It is also an opportunity to introduce four of the outstanding artists who I represent.
Special thanks must go to Greg Li for bringing together the exceptional range of artists involved in the ‘Beautiful Hometown’ exhibition. Many of the artists were born overseas and now call Australia home. They are all multi award winning artists who have exhibited internationally. This group covers multiple disciplines and use a wide range of mediums. Among them are those who paint with ink, alcohol ink, oil, watercolour and acrylic paint. They are textile, digital and graphic artists, print makers, calligraphers, ceramic artists and sculptors.
As contemporary artists they are inspired by the landscape, their heritage, social and environmental issues, often challenging prevailing opinions.Each artist has produced a unique body of work for this exhibition inspired by their interpretation of the concept of ‘Beautiful Hometown’.
The exhibition has received more artworks than can be displayed within the space but in showcasing 48 artists the exhibition allows those who attend to appreciate the range of artists, the quality of their work and the diversity of their styles.The full exhibition is extraordinary in its breadth of subjects and artists.
The organisers of this exhibition acknowledge the support of the Australian China Culture Centre for hosting the exhibition along with the associations and institutes listed separately.
Acknowledgement and thanks must also go to Mr Paul Fletcher, the Federal Member for Bradfield and the Mayor of Willoughby Council, Ms Tanya Taylor for attending and supporting the opening event.
As Greg Li says, this exhibition “is truly art without borders” and reflects the richness and diversity of the community of Willoughby and in turn Sydney and Australia.

特别感谢 李钢先生汇聚了参与“美丽故乡”展览的众多艺术家。许多艺术家出生在海外，现在以澳大利亚为家。他们都是多次获奖的杰出艺术家，曾在国际上展出过。本次展览参展艺术家涵盖多个艺术学科并使用广泛的艺术媒介。其中有那些用酒精、墨水、油、水彩和丙烯颜料作画的艺术家。有纺织、数字和图形艺术家、水彩画家、油画家、版画家、中国书画家、陶瓷艺术家和雕塑家等。
作为当代艺术家，他们受到风景、遗产、社会和环境问题的启发，经常挑战主流观点。每位艺术家都为本次展览创作了独特的作品，灵感来自他们对“美丽故乡”概念的诠释。

Wei Guan
Wei Guan was born in Beijing, China and graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Beijing Capital University in 1986
1989 – 1992 Artist-in-Residence, Tasmanian School of Art, University of Tasmania, Hobart
1993 Artist-in-Residence, Canberra School of Art, Australian National University and Artist-in-Residence, Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney.
In 2008 established a studio in Beijing. Now lives and works in both Beijing and Sydney.
Guan Wei has held more than 70 solo exhibitions internationally. He also has been included in many important international contemporary exhibitions, such as Shanghai Biennale; 10th Havana Biennial, Cuba; Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art; Third Asia Pacific Triennial, Queensland Art Gallery; Osaka Triennale, Japan; Gwangju Biennale, South Korea. He has been awarded in many art competitions, including the 2002 Sulman Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW; and the 2015 Arthur Guy Memorial Prize, at Bendigo Art GalleryVic.
In 2021 Guan Wei was granted a Doctor of Creative Art (honoris causa) by Western Sydney University.

1957年生于中国北京。1986年毕业于首都师范大学美术系。1989年至1992年分别在澳大利亚塔斯马尼亚艺术学院，澳大利亚国立大学艺术学院，及悉尼当代艺术馆做客座艺术家。1993年定居澳大利亚悉尼。2008年在北京设立工作室。现在生活、工作于北京和悉尼。曾在世界各地举办了70多届个人展览，参加了许多重要的国际当代艺术展：包括第八届上海双年展；第十届古巴哈瓦那双年展；澳大利亚阿德雷得双年展和第三届亚太地区三年展; 日本大阪三年展；韩国光洲双年展，等等。曾多次在澳大利亚获得艺术比赛大奖，其中包括：2002年澳大利亚新南威尔士州立美术馆的全国美术创作大奖索门奖，以及2015年澳大利亚，维多利亚州本迪戈市美术馆，亚瑟·盖伊绘画大奖。2021年被西悉尼大学授予创意艺术荣誉博士。

Richard Tiejun Chao
Richard Chao is a renowned watercolour artist with solo and group exhibitions in Europe, USA, Asia, and Australia.
The artist has presented watercolour demonstrations, workshops and lectures around the world and has been a judge at many international art exhibitions.
A featured artist in the French leading international professional journal The Art of Watercolor.
Winner of over 60 major watercolour prizes for the last 5 years, including: First Prize in IWM – UK, A. J. Casson Award (First Place) in WSPWC 96th Exhibition – Canada, Mary Lind Award (Top Three) in NWS Member Exhibition – USA, and many others.
Artist statement:
Since I lived in multicultural Australia, I’ve had the chance to make friends with people from a variety of ethnic groups, races, cultural and socio-eco backgrounds, and such with different beliefs.
Furthermore, on my exhibition trips, I’ve seen people from different walks of life in different corners of the globe. I was amazed by the diversity of life, as well as the shared features among people. Namely nobody can avoid birth, ageing, illness and death, and everybody experiences happiness and sufferings.
So, I have been undertaking a long term project entitled “We Are the World”, which interprets, in my perspective, that the world is constituted by every individual life in it. I try to discuss the recognition of personal identity with the different portraits I paint. My portraiture artworks echo how my thoughts have changed since I moved to Australia.
Living in Australia gives me the chance to communicate in a cross-cultural setting, and to be able to observe, experience and understand differences and tolerance, and encourages me to accept life as it is.
This is an imperfect, human-dominated world, spotted with such gloom as pressure, poverty misunderstandings, hostility and even slaughter.
晁铁军
国际著名水彩画家，现居悉尼; IWS(国际水彩画协会)大师会员、波兰当代水彩基金会特邀会员、GAWA(世界水彩画家协会)签字会员。
晁铁军先后就读于西安美术学院附中、西安美术学院油画系和西安交通大学人文学院油画艺术研究专业，圆满了完成了艺术家养成的专业学习和训练。
晁先生做过大学艺术系的老师，还有10多年报业视觉设计管理工作，曾荣获中国十大媒体视觉总监。
晁先生移居悉尼后，环境和心态的变化让他对人生和自然有了更多的思考，并开始探索新的艺术创作领域。他潜心于水彩画研究，尤其是在肖像画方面进行了大量的艺术实践。他希望通过自己的艺术，去体验和表达不同种族、文化、地域、宗教和人生经历的影响下，人类表面上的多样性和背后所共同经历的生老病死、喜怒哀乐。
晁先生在世界水彩画领域非常活跃，近年来他在悉尼、墨尔本举办过6次个人水彩画展；参加了六十多个包括国际大师邀请展在內的重要国际比赛，并多次获一、二、三等大奖。重要的艺术成就有：2021加拿大水彩画协会96届国际大展最高奖A.J. Greg Li
Greg Li born in Juzhou, Zhejiang in 1958 and graduated from China Academy of Art in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Greg is the president of China Academy of Art Australian Alumni Association and Principal of Greg Arts School, Member of Lane Cove Art Society, Consultant of Australian Art Association, Senior Consultant of Australia Yanhuang Painting Studio,
Greg has curated many exhibitions including: 2019 Invitational Exhibition of Australian Chinese Artists, 2021 Invitational Exhibition of Australian Chinese Artists, 2021 Art Exhibition of New International, 2021 China-Australia Contemporary Art Exhibition.

The United Nations World Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Foundation has authorized International authoritative cultural institutions, including the Federation of European Philatelic Associations, China international Culture and Art Development Exchange Centre, and Shanshui DanQing International Art Center have jointly carried out the nomination and selection of “international Peace Artist”.
2022, Greg has been awarded the honour of “International Peace Artist” for his outstanding achievements and a call for world peace. Commemorative stamps have been issued in his honour by the United Nations Post, the French Post, the Canada Post, and the Austria Post.
Greg Li specializes in figure (nude) drawing, flower and landscape painting. He works in oils and his original alcohol ink painting method. Greg is an exponent of traditional Chinese painting and Chinese character oil painting.
Interlacing both Eastern and Western forms, Greg’s artworks are distinctly modern, whilst also embodying ancient elements.
Greg has exhibited his artworks throughout Australia, and has been included in major exhibitions across China and the United States. His works have been held in significant collections by both Australian and Chinese institutions and private collections.

Professor Xu Fang
Professor Xu Fang works in the School of Art and Design at the University of New South Wales as the convenor of the environmental/spatial design discipline and a PhD supervisor.
For the past 35 years, he has taught at the Academy of Arts & Design of Tsinghua University in Beijing, the Queensland College of Arts in Brisbane, and the School of Art & Design at the UNSW in Sydney.Professor Xu has also served as a guest professor at several overseas universities.
He has made positive contributions to the exchange and cooperation of art and design education between Australian and China universities.
His academic background in blending East and West and his artistic practice across multiple disciplines have created his unique artistic insight and style.
Professor Xu Fang has been insisting on painting practice for many years. In addition to the busy daily teaching and design practice, he is good at using the short time to capture various moments of people’s everyday life with sketches. Buses, train station platforms, coffee shops, restaurants, everywhere can be places to do his drawing. Characters, scenes, and movement of light are all his painting objects. Years of artistic practice have created his unique artistic style.
Remarkably, his sketches of urban environment and architecture are favoured and collected by many art galleries, university art galleries and private collectors. His “Drawing for Design” class became one of the most popular courses at the university.
Over the years, he has been invited to hold painting workshops for the Prince Charles Foundation, New South Wales Cultural Heritage, the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and other institutions, warmly welcomed by the industry and participants.
徐放
徐放教授：艺术设计教育家，设计师，艺术家。
徐教授任职于新南威尔士大学艺术与设计学院，担任环境/空间设计学科的负责人，博士生导师。35年来他先后任教于中国清华大学美术学院，澳洲昆士兰艺术学院，新南威尔士大学艺术与设计学院。他同时担任多所海外大学的客座教授。为澳中之间的艺术与设计教育的交流与合作做出了积极贡献。他的东西方交融的学术背景，跨多个学科的艺术实践经验，造就了他独特的艺术见解和风格。
多年来徐放教授一直坚持绘画实践，在繁忙的日常教学与设计实践之外，善于利用短暂的时间，用速写来捕捉人们日常生活的各种瞬间。公共汽车、火车站月台、咖啡店、餐馆，到处都是他画画的地方。人物、场景、光线的运动，都是他的绘画对象。多年的艺术实践造就了他独特的艺术风格。值得一提的是，他的城市环境和建筑速写作品受到众多美术馆、大学美术馆和私人收藏家的青睐和收藏。他开设的“为设计而画”课在大学里成为最受欢迎的课程之一。多年来他受邀为查尔斯王子基金会，新洲文化遗产，澳洲皇家建筑师协会等机构举办绘画工作坊，受到业界的热烈欢迎。
Gabby Malpas
Gabby Malpas graduated from the Otago Art School, Dunedin NZ in 1986 with a major in ceramics.
Gabby challenges the centuries-old tradition of Chinoiserie with her own narrative asa Chinese adoptee raised by white parents in NZ, reclaiming her heritage later in life.
The resulting works are beautiful and delicate with stories that draw the viewer in for a closer look. This is a calculated contrast to the sometimes confronting messages within her work.
A proud maximalist, Gabby currently resides in Sydney, Australia

Gabby Malpas

Gabby 以她自己的故事挑战了数百年的中国风传统，她是在新西兰被白人父母抚养长大的中国收养者，在后来的生活中恢复了她的传统。

Mellissa Read-Devine
Mellissa Read-Devine was born in England in the 1960s and as a child emigrated to Australia with her family.
She has studied and practiced printmaking and painting continuously since the mid ‘90s and is a recipient of many prizes and awards. Her works are sought after included in many private and public collections around the world.
Living in rural Sydney overlooking the Hawkesbury River, Mellissa’s paintings have evolved into her “macropointilist” style celebrating the shape, colour and brushstroke of contemporary impressionism.
A Fellow of the Royal Art Society of NSW, Mellissa is also a fine art tutor and travels to teach art enrichment workshops around the country and overseas.

Mellissa Read-Devine

Steffie Wallace
Steffie Wallace was born in Adelaide, SA in 1946 and has been Melbourne-based since 1956.
Steffie studied life drawing at the National Gallery Art School Melbourne with John Brack and Ian Armstrong then went on to study Fine Art Painting and Printmaking at the School of Art and Design, Prahran CAE
Steffie has been employed as graphic artist and catalogue illustrator and was the art critic for “Melbourne Times” newspaper; regular contributor to “Imprint” magazine.
In the 1980s she studied for a BA at Swinburne University, was lecturer in art history at the Council of Adult Education, Melbourne; and gallery director of “l’estampeoriginale”, Hawthorn, specialising in European antique prints.
Steffie’s works are represented in gallery exhibitions, both in Australia and overseas; various private and corporate art commissions, including the Melbourne Football Club and the Westpac Bank and in the collections of Dr Derek Mahony, Sydney, and Dr Melanie Zefferino (Art Historian and Curator), Warwick University, Turin, Italy.

Julie Simmons
Julie Simmons trained as a commercial artist (Graphic Artist) on leaving school. This was followed by working as a tracer and detail draughtsperson for an engineering company. Julie also produced exploded view drawings for car manuals.
Whilst having her family Julie completed two Diplomas in pottery at Penrith TAFE and for the next 16yrs had a successful career as a studio potter.
In 2004 she was drawn back to painting, in particular watercolours working in the wet in wet tradition. She felt her drawing skills, learned during her time in an art studio in the city, were more suited to the medium of watercolour. Julie has developed her own unique style, pushing the boundaries of the watercolour medium to produce works full of light and depth of tone whilst maintaining the transparent quality of the medium.
Julie has expanded her skill set by painting in other mediums including oil, acrylic, pastel and charcoal. She paints en plein air regularly including numerous week long painting trips each year. This painting outdoors is a crucial aspect of her work where she concentrates on shape and tone and consequently the subject is simplified with detail being kept to a minimum.
Julie has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Camberwell Rotary
A number of councils and private businesses have acquired her work.
Julie is a Fellow of the Royal Art Society.

Clare McShanag
Clare McShanag is a Sydney based artist who studied Graphic Design Art at Swinburne University and staged her first solo exhibition, ‘The Character of Life” at the Solo Lounge in New York.
Clare formalized her calling with studies in Fine Art Photography at RMIT University in Melbourne. Clare presented another solo exhibition ‘Streets with No Names”. From that day onwards she was exhibiting throughout the world.
In April 2017 Clare participated in an international exhibition for the 500th anniversary of Luther, which also focused on the music of Bach. Her works were exhibited in the Berliner Dom and are currently in the Bachhaus Museum in Eisenach, Germany.
Clare McShanag seeks inspiration from life and movement, capturing the dynamic moments and the colour of life. Both dark and beautiful, these photographs expose a mixture of the surreal and abstract. Photographs that are distorted yet discernible, visibly soft, yet impact the viewer with their sharper edge.

Congyue Luo is a watercolour painter who works out of the Huayi Watercolour Studio in Rome, Italy.
Congyue Luo is a member of the Italian ANADI Rome Watercolour Painters Association, a member of the French HuayiChisheng Association, and a member of the Overseas Chinese Artists Association.
Personal albums of watercolour works have been published in such journals as “Watercolour Research”, “Chinese Watercolour”, “Shanghai Quanhua Watercolour Art Museum”.
From 1989 to 1993, his watercolour works were selected for many Italian art exhibitions, where he won awards and his works collected.
In 2019, a solo exhibition of watercolour works was held in Rome.
In 2020, his works were selected for the Biennale of Sino-Italian Watercolour Works in Rome, Italy; and the Exhibition of Fashion City Paintings by Famous Artists at Home and Abroad, Qingdao, China.

Zhongheng Zhang
Zhongheng Zhang’s (John Zhang) artworks show a complex mix of performance and distinct character, the use of skilled strokes, subjective colours, different styles, walking between realism, abstraction and expressionism.
John enjoys the continuous improvement and breakthrough in exploration and practice. His rich imagination and perfectionism make his artworks surprising, mysterious, cultivated and reverie.
The moods conveyed in his works are very infectious and enlightening.

张仲衡的作品表现手法多变又不失鲜明的个性，运用娴熟的笔触，主观的色彩，不同的风格，游走在写实，抽象及表现主义之间，在不断地完善和突破中探索和实践。他丰富的想象和有力量的表现使他的作品总是出其不意，神秘而超脱，令人遐想，具有非常的感染力。
Qi Wei Chen
From an early age, Qi Wei Chen studied watercolour painting under the famous painter, Liang Xi Hong. Chen continued his studies at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in China.
Following his immigration to Australia, Chen dedicated himself to fine art education.
He is now the founder and principal of International Art Centre of Sydney.

Fangmin Wu
Fangmin Wu was born in China and immigrated to Australia in 1990.
Painting and drawing were his passion from an early age. He engaged in printmaking during his early life, and has won numerous art prizes.
He won his second art prize in a provincial youth art competition in 1981, and was selected to be included in “A Great Biographic Dictionary of Contemporary Chinese Artists”.
In 1997 he graduated from the Sydney College of Arts with an Honours Degree in Visual Arts.
In recent years, his works have been selected for several major art exhibitions both in Australia and internationally, including: “Coming Home” Beijing Art Exhibition (2009); Blake Art Prize (2011, 2013); St. George Art Prize (2012, 2014); Adelaide Perry Drawing Prize (2015); Waverley Art Prize (2015); Fishers Ghost Art Award (2016, 2018, 2020); First Chinese artistic achievement art exhibition (2016), Clifton Art Prize and Miradas International Art Prize (2018); Highly Commended Prize at Bayside Art Prize (2018); First Prize at Liverpool Art Prize (2020);In 2021, His work has been selected for the National Emerging Art Exhibition.
He was a Winner of Werriwa art prize (2022).
Recently, his oil painting “We Are One” won the first prize of the Australian 2022 Immunisation Coalition Art Prize.
Fangmin’s artistic creation is extensive, his art-making is reactionary to current international events and a reflection on social issues.
In his landscape paintings, the Australian countryside, farms and villages are often the source of inspiration for his works. He hopes that his landscape paintings are more than a simple reproduction of nature – they should be works with passion and personality, and bring a new perspective to the viewer.
Adopting a style that blends realism with expressionism, he favours oils, acrylics and mixed mediums. His works have been widely collected, both privately and public, notably by the NSW Nepean Public Hospital and Australian National Gallery.
吴方敏

Jianping Gao
Jianping (James) Gao is a highly sought-after artist who works in a variety of media, including paintings; decorative art; graphics and textiles designs.
As a professional designer, he has produced 77 award-winning designs.
After coming to Australia, James continued to create more excellent artworks and designs as a freelancer, and was the chief designer for a high-end decoration art products company.
James’s recent acrylic on canvas paintings portray the poetical emotions of nature and life, by infusing the skilfully painted objects and sceneries in a semi-abstract style. Through the carefully manipulated rhythm of colour and texture, the images convey a sense of serenity to his audience.

Karl Weiming Lu
Karl Weiming Lu, is a Contemporary Artist of Philosophy of Science & Technology, a Premium Plus Member of NAVA (National Association for the Visual Arts, Australia), and a Guest Professor of the Boya Think Tank, Beijing University.
Lu was born into a renowned arts, education, and business family in Hangzhou for generations. Before came to Australia, Lu was a civil engineer, meantime, he also participated in the 85 New Wave Art Movement.
In 1991, he relocated to Australia for postgraduate studies in philosophy and international relations in the University of Wollongong and University of Sydney respectively, where he earned his Master of Art, Master of Design, and Master of Architecture from UNSW.
Since 2000, his artworks have been exhibited, published, awarded, and collected globally; he has also been regarded in the US and European artworld as “a true global Renaissance man of our time, his life and art span from East to West”.
吕.卡尔.卫民
当代文艺复兴式科技哲学艺术家，澳洲国家视觉艺术协会高级会员，中国北大博雅智库客座教授。1962出生于杭州人文艺术教育及商务世家，1991起留澳，获卧龙宫大学哲学研究文凭，悉尼大学经济学院国际研究文凭，新南威尔士大学艺术硕士，设计硕士，建筑硕士。留学前为建筑工程师并参与了85美术新潮运动。其作品在世界范围广为展出，出版，获奖及被收藏，被欧美艺术界誉为“当代横跨东西方文化的文艺复兴式人物”。
Ge Shan
Ge Shan was born in 1964 in Chongqing, China where he still lives and works as a professional artist.
In 1986 he joined the first foreign publicity magazine sponsored by local governments in China. He is also the first art editor. In 1988, the magazine won the second prize of “overall design of the first national journal” awarded by the State Press and publication administration.
He joined Chongqing Artists Association in 1989. In 1990 he edited and published the large-scale literature book “Dazu stone carvings in China”.
In 1992, he was included in the list of “Great Dictionary of Chinese Calligraphers and painters”.
In 2019, the series 5 of “bathing place” won the gold medal in the first China expressionism painting tour exhibition. In 2020, this work was included in the bibliography of Chinese new contemporary art images.
In 2021, his work “HUYUN” series 3 won the annual Excellence Award of the third annual art exhibition of “great artists Summer Exhibition 21”.
In 2022, his work streaming sound won the first prize in the Fourth International abstract network exhibition.
As for Ge Shan, he has the ability to evolve reality into infinite imagination space and forget himself beyond abstraction. His works reflect the illogical reality. He wants to escape but can’t withstand such temptation. He is a cruel naked self, a hand-to-hand battle between reality and imagination, and an inner monologue that wants to find a balance in a certain paradox!
戈 山
1964年出生于中国重庆。1986-2000年任《重庆与世界》杂志社美术编辑。1988年杂志获由国家新闻出版署评定的“全国首届期刊杂志整体设计”二等奖。1989年加入重庆美术家协会。1990年编辑、出版大型文献书籍《中国大足石刻》。1992年入编《中国书画家大辞典》名录。2019年作品《浴场》系列5获首届中国表现主义绘画作品巡回展金奖。2020年入编《中国新当代艺术图像》文献图录。2021年作品《忽云》系列3获第三届《大艺家夏季展21》年度艺术大展年度优秀奖。2022年作品《流声》获第四届国际抽象网络展一等奖。现居重庆，职业艺术家。
对于戈山而言，他具有把现实演化到无限的想象空间中，界于抽象之外的忘乎所以。其作品中映衬出现实的不合逻辑，是想逃离却又经受不住这样的诱惑，是残忍的赤裸裸中时隐时现的自己，是真实与假想之间的一场肉搏战，是想在某种悖论中找到一种平衡的内心独白！

Li Xiaoying
Li Xiaoying, also known as Li Chunying, was born in a photographers’ family in Yuncheng, Shandong in 1972.
Li is a painter and a poet and is currently living in Beijing, China.
She is a member of Beijing Haidian Art Association; Beijing International Art Association; China Art Committee; and New International Online Art Forum.
Li focuses on experimenting with the art of abstraction. She uses the media of oil painting to explore and communicate with the multi-dimensional world. As a practitioner of soul painting, Li embraces changes and creates her own language in colours and figures.
李小英
原名李春英，在北京，1972年初生于山东郓城摄影之家。职业画家，诗人。北京海淀美协会员，北京国际交流艺术协会，艺术委员会。新国际艺术网络论坛成员。重视画中有画，画中还有画，双色人面相的抽象理念，三维和多维世界的对话。喜欢不断变化创造新的画风，用灵魂画画的修行者。
Jenny Wassell Jiang
Jenny Wassell Jiang’s work is symbolic, evocative, and features many dramatic, expressive forms. Extensive use is made of Ying and Yang; positive and negative spaces. Natural and abstract patterns are also featured, to stir the intellect and awaken passion in the viewer.
Jenny won the China National Textile Design Award in 1987. Since moving to Australia in 1989, she has completed Bachelor of Visual Art and Master of Art degree at Sydney College of the Arts, the University of Sydney.
As a professional artist, she has specialized in portraiture and landscapes working in oil painting, sketching, design, and printmaking.
She was awarded a High Commendation (in traditional painting) at Liverpool Powerhouse Museum Art exhibition in 2001.
She has won the logo design competition that was used for the Discovery Festival of the Arts Hurstville’s banners in 2004.

Guilan Hao
Guilan Hao is a member of the International Federation of Calligraphy and Painting Artists. Executive Secretary General of International Abstract Artists Union, Vice President of International Women Artists Association, Member of Inner Mongolia Artists Association, Director of Municipal Artists Association, Vice Chairman of Wulateqianqi Artists Association.
Since 2005, she has participated in several exhibitions at home and abroad.
In 2018, the oil painting “Eternal Watch” was exhibited at the Yiyiyiyi International Rock Art Exhibition.
In 2019, the oil painting “Hometown Sunflower Field” was selected for the 2019 First International Sunflower Master Invitational Exhibition.
In 2020, the oil painting “WuliangSuhai” was selected and won the prize of clear water and blue sky. The 2nd National Invitational Exhibition of Famous Artists of Art, Calligraphy and Photography in Wuliangsuhai, China.
The Chinese painting “Sunflower Rhyme” No. 2 participated in the 2nd International Sunflower Master Invitational Exhibition in 2020. The 2020 works “The Horse of the Sea God” and “Echo of the Soul” were selected for the 2nd International New Contemporary Art Network Exhibition.
In the same year, her works “Flying Dreams” and “The Depths of Love” were selected for the 4th China (International) “Abstract and Existence” Abstract Art Exhibition in 2020.
In 2021, the science and art work “The Beauty of Liquid Crystal: The Wandering Spirit” won the third prize of the Shanghai Li Zhengdao Science and Art Grand Prix and was collected by the Li Zhengdao Science and Art Library.
Since 2019, some of her works have been published in domestic and foreign newspapers and periodicals such as “New York Yixun”, Hong Kong “Literature Monthly”, “Inner Mongolia Daily” and “Bayannaoer Daily”.
Works have been collected by individuals and domestic and foreign universities, museums and other institutions.

John Zhang
John Zhang graduated from the China Academy of Art in 1987 and came to Australia to learn art in 1991. Since then, he has lived in Melbourne and runs a business. He specialises in oil paint on canvas. Now he is committee member of China Academy of Art Australian Alumni Association.

Liang Li
Liang Li graduated from the China Academy of Art in 1987. He has been concentring on studying and practising a new conception of Totemism Since he came to Sydney in 1989.
Currently, he is a committee member of the China Academy of Art Australia Alumni Association.

Jun Wang
Jun Wang, born in Dalian city of China, graduated from the China Academy of Art in 2005. He is a member of the Hangzhou Artists Association and is now the social and exhibition member of the Ku-ring-gai Art Society.
Jun has been engaged in painting for more than 20 years. During his previous academia, he studied drawing and painting under the guidance of the legendary Chinese artists Prof. Rulai Lu， Prof. Xiaodong Cui and Swedish oil painting master Odd Nerdrum.
In 2008, he founded the Jun Wong Art Studio in Hangzhou and published more than 20 art textbooks that were broadly issued in China in 2008. He also participated in the competition of The Newcomer of Hangzhou Young Artist in 2011, and his artwork Coagulation Sweet won the Gold Award. In the same year, this oil painting entered in Hongmeisong Art Exhibition in Hang Zhou. In 2013, he also participated in the 3rd Chinese Oil Painting Art Exhibition held by the Chinese Academy of oil painting, and his oil painting Breeze of The Past won the Excellent Works Award.
In 2013, Jun was signed by the Hangzhou Classic No.1 Gallery, and a number of his artworks participated in several large domestic auctions and were collected by domestic and overseas collectors.
Since moving to Australia in 2015, primarily, he has been engaged in creative painting. In July 2017, Jun was invited by the ARTHG Art Gallery, two Melbourne-based artists, who organized a group exhibition called Enchanted Dream in the Victorian Artist Society Gallery. Later in October, he went to Florence, Italy, to attend an advanced workshop on oil painting with Norwegian oil painting master Odd Nerdrum and held a graduation exhibition with master Odd.
In April 2018, Jun hosted the “2018 Australian Autumn Art Tour of Landscape Oil Painting by Min Cui Art Studio” in Sydney and held the seminar and exhibition for these artworks during the event. In June, his artwork Ancient Looking Back and Daughter of The Ocean participated in the Concept & Knowledge International Touring Exhibition. This exhibition also invited some celebrated Chinese contemporary artists, such as Leng Jun, Guo Run Wen and Xu Mang Yao. Later in July, his artwork Lily and Iris participated in the 53rd Annual Art Awards Exhibition 2018, held by The Ku-ring-gai Art Society. And won the first prize in the oil category.
Jun is currently living and working in Sydney, running his own business in The Grace Art Studio.
he is a committee member of the China Academy of Art Australia Alumni Association.
王俊
出生于中国大连。2005年毕业于中国美术学院，为杭州市美术家协会会员。悉尼Ku-ring-gai 艺术协会会员。2008年在杭州创办画室，2008年后出版美术教材共计20余本，在中国发行。2013年签约于杭州经典壹号画廊，多幅作品曾多次参加过国内大型拍卖会并被国内外收藏家收藏。2016年在Chatswood创办”悉尼典典画室”，从事绘画创作和教学工作。2017年赴意大利参加Odd Nerdrum油画高级研修班，并与Odd大师一起举办结业作品展。2018年6月，参加「观念与知识」中国当代油画名家法，英，中三国巡展。同年7⽉，参加第53届悉尼Ku-ring-gai艺术协会年度艺术展，并获得油画类作品一等奖 。

Cunde Wang
Cunde Wang was born in Beijing, China in 1935.
He was a teacher at the Central Academy of Fine Arts Annex in Beijing and later studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
He settled in Australia in1988 and is now an advisor to the Australian Chinese Culture and Art.
He has published books on animal, flower and landscape patterns and has designed coins for the Royal Australian Mint. He has published a collection of Cunde Wang’s paintings and was awarded the Australian Calligraphy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018.
王存德
1935年生于北京，北京中央美院附中教师，后入中央美院学习，1988年定居澳大利亚，现为澳洲中国文化艺术研究院顾问。曾出版动物、花卉、风景图案等书籍。曾为澳洲皇家制币厂设计钱币。出版有王存德画集，2018年获澳大利亚书法终身成就奖。
Archibald Tsui
Archibald Tsui was born in Guangzhou, China in 1944. He graduated from the Guangzhou Art School in 1961, majoring in Stage Art and Design. He migrated to Australia in 1983.
In 1988, Mr Tsui established the Spring Sunshine Art Gallery in Sydney. He organised the Academy of Australian Chinese Artists in 1993 and became the secretary for the Academy.
Over the years, he has dedicated to the planning and organisation of various art events, seminars, talks and exhibitions including the 1997 Celebrating the Return of Hong Kong to China Art Exhibition.
Mr Tsui’s achievement and work have spread over various countries including Australia, China, Japan and United States of America. He has also held many successful individual and joint art exhibitions. His work has been included in art publications here and overseas.
Mr Tsui’s artwork has been keenly collected by cultural organisations and individuals across all sectors.
Mr Tsui has been devoting and promoting art and its studies for over 60 years.
He specialises in the painting of flowers and birds in the “xieyi”, freehand brushwork style. He is also very accomplished in Chinese calligraphy and seal-carving. While he strongly advocates for the traditional Chinese art techniques, he has boldly incorporated the use of Western art techniques such as the use of colours and light in his work. His work is fresh, lively and full of energy. He is a well-learnt and inspiring artist.
Mr Tsui now lives in Sydney and is currently the Chairman of the Academy of Australian Chinese Artists.
In 2019, he was presented with the Chinese Art Lifetime Achievement Award.
徐沄
字三云，斋号蟠桃山庄，1961年毕业于<广州艺术学校>舞台美术专业,1983年移居澳洲悉尼市。
1988年在悉尼开办<春暉画廊>,1993年组织<澳洲中国美术家协会>,任理亊長。現居悉尼，任<澳洲中国美术家协会>主席。2019年新春，获颁赠”书画终生成就奖”
先后在澳洲丶中国丶日本丶美囯等地举办多次个展丶联展，个人艺术活动及作品入编国内外多种大型艺术辞典丶书画集等,作品广为各文化机构及各界人仕收藏。
Kevin He
Kevin He has studied Chinese Ink Painting with many famous artists for decades.
He formed his own style by absorbing different Ink Painting styles and different forms of art.
Many of his artworks were published and won awards at home and abroad.
In 1999, he immigrated to Sydney, Australia, and is now a member of Australian Chinese Culture and Art Research Association.

Wenhua Tan
Wenhua Tan was born in Fuzhou, China.
Graduated from the advanced training course of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts in Beijing.
She is a disciple of the famous painter Mr Zifen Chen, a senior craftsman and a first-class artist.
She is now the honorary director of the Australian Chinese Culture and Art Research Institute and the Vice President of the International Cooperation of Woman Painters.
谭文华
出生中国福州。毕业于北京中央工艺美院高级研修班。著名画家陈子奋先生入室弟子，高级工艺美术师，一级美术师。
现为澳洲中国文化艺术研究院名誉院长，国际女画家合作组织副主席。
Ximei XU
Ms Ximei XU is an artist and art critic from Tianjin, China. She studied under an artist who was a pupil of Mr. Kuchan LI, a Chinese painter of great renown. She is a member of the Chinese Artists Association, Chinese Writers Association, and Chinese Television and Film Artists Association. She is also an Art Consultant of the Australian Chinese Culture and Art Institute, and the Australian Yanhuang Arts Academy, and additionally serves as the Deputy President of the Australian Printing Academy.
Ms XU’s Chinese artworks embody artistic freedom by covering a variety of topics and styles, remaining innovative and unconventional, and are rich with vivid imagery. The artworks have been displayed in many national and international exhibitions and have received awards and commendations, and have been collected in various art publications. She has held five solo exhibitions in Tianjin, China and Sydney, Australia in 2013, 2019 and 2022, and has garnered an excellent reputation amongst Art circles.
徐希嵋
天津画家，美术评论家。当代国画大师李苦禅先生的再传弟子。中国美术家协会，作家协会，电影电视家协会会员。澳大利亚中国文化艺术研究院、澳洲炎黄画院艺术顾问，澳大利亚画院副院长。她的画作取材广泛形式多样，清雅脱俗，荡漾着一种大气灵动的自由精神。作品多次在全国及国际性展览亮相，亦有获奖并辑入画册。曾于2013，2019，2022年分别在中国天津和澳洲悉尼举办五次个人画展。颇受画界青睐。
Subin Xu
Subin Xu was born in Shandong, China. She was influenced by her mother’s passion for painting since childhood. She has held group exhibitions of painting and calligraphy and has led classes and taught students to spread Chinese culture.
She is currently a director of the Australian Artists Association, a painter of the Australian Institute of Chinese Culture and Art, an art advisor of the Australian Yanhuang Painting Institute, and a Vice President of the Australian Painting Institute.
徐素彬
出生于中国山东，自幼受母影响酷爱绘画艺术。曾举办过六人、八人书画联展、师生展、个展，带班授徒传播中华文化。
现为澳大利亚美术家协会理事、澳洲中国文化艺术研究院画家、澳大利亚炎黄画院艺术顾问、澳大利亚画院副院长。
Zhiwen Zhang
Zhiwen Zhang was born in Beijing, China.
She has loved painting since she was a child, especially the painting of ladies. After retiring, she studied Chinese painting and painting for six years at the Chinese University for the Aged. After settling in Sydney, she taught painting of ladies in the Chinese community and often participated in painting exhibitions organized by various associations.

Yibai Yu
Yibai Yu graduated from Fuzhou Arts and Crafts school, majoring in lacquerware and stayed to teach after graduation.
His works have been exhibited in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, and he has published “Yibai Yu painting collection.
He is now a member of the Australian Academy of painters and a managing director of the Australian Chinese Culture and Art Institute.

Dingxian Luo
Dingxian Luo graduated from Guangdong Veteran Cadre University and studied flower and crow painting.
Luo settled in Sydney in 2000and is a member of the Australian Artists Association and the Australian Painting Academy Incorporated and a consultant of the Australian Chinese Culture and Art Institute.

Hua Bi
Hua Bi was born in Guang Zhou, China.
He is specializing in cursive calligraphy and seal carving.
He has worked as a teacher and technical director of an art and craft factory. Now settled in Sydney, he is the executive director of the Australian Chinese Culture and Art Institute and the calligrapher of the Australian Painting Academy Incorporated.

Yunan Qiu was born in 1933.

丘云庵

Yihao Huang
Yihao Huang is a member of the Hubei Artists Association and a skilled artist. He is a model worker in Huangshi and an outstanding artist contracted by Shanghai PS Art Museum.

In 1989, his gouache Painting “Quit smoking” won the bronze medal in the First National Staff Art Exhibition.
1993, the first China Art Exhibition held by the Ministry of Culture,
2002, oil painting “Environmental survival and health” won the third prize in the fourth excellent science and Popular Art Exhibition of Hubei Province.

He received a bachelor’s degree from Xiamen University and a master’s degree from China Academy of Art. He was studying with Huang Yongping and Zhang Peili.
He taught at Hangzhou Normal University since 2002. Now he is an associate professor and master’s supervisor at the Fine Arts School of Hangzhou Normal University, a “131” talent of Hangzhou Municipal Government, a member of the expert database of the Graduate Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, ascholar of Zhejiang Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences Circles (ZJFHSSC), an executive director of Zhejiang Ancient Ceramics Museum, and the best Artistic Figure in 2022.
He has won many awards: selected for the Seventh National Youth Fine Arts Works Exhibition and the National Youth Fine Arts Works Exhibition, specially invited for the Eleventh Provincial Fine Arts Works Exhibition, Award for Best Art of “China Star”, Silver Award of International Chinese Youth Art Exhibition, BASF Artist Award, The One Show Art Award, and the first prize of China Art Design Competition. He is the author of two textbooks designated by China Academy of Art and national planning. More than 20 works/papers have been published in Literature and Art Research of China Academy of Art, New Art of China Academy of Art, and China Publishing. His works are exhibited in New York, Mannheimand Vienna. In China, his works can be found in Shanghai Art Museum, Nanjing Museum, Zhejiang Art Museum and other places, and collected by China Academy of Art, Art College of Xiamen University and other private collectors.
He has hosted more than 20 projects, including non-legacy art projects of national Ministry of Education, visual art promotion of national excellent cultural works, and provincial education planning. He has presided over “Lotus Lantern” – the non-legacy Peking Opera “National Excellent Project”, the Chinese Art Festival “Star Gold Award”, and “Monkey King”, “Tibetan Antelope” at China “Seine Drama Award” ,etc.. His research direction is contemporary art/non-legacy art/new media art. Now he is a member of China Academy of Art Australia Alumni Association.

多次获奖，第七届全国青年美展入选，十届全国美展 入选、十一届省美展特邀、“中国之星”最佳艺术奖、国际华人青年美展银奖、德国巴斯夫艺术家大奖、美国金铅笔艺术奖、中国艺术设计大赛一等奖。著有中国美院指定教材，全国规划教材2部。作品/论文被中国艺术研究院《文艺研究》、中国美院《新美术》、《中国出版》等收录20余篇。作品在美国纽约 德国曼海姆奥地利维也纳 巡展。在上海美术馆、南京博物院、浙江省美术馆等地展出并被中国美术学院、厦门大学艺术学院等和私人收藏。
主持国家教育部非遗美术课题、国家精品文化工程视觉艺术推广、省教育规划等各类课题20余项。主持非遗京剧视觉形象 “国家精品工程”《宝莲灯》，中国艺术节“群星金奖”法国巴黎中国 “塞纳戏剧奖《王者迩狄》《美猴王》《藏羚羊》等。
研究方向：当代艺术/非遗美术/新媒体艺术。
现为中国美术学院澳大利亚校友会会员。
