北京时间4月28日清晨，一架搭载着来自广东的100万个医用护理口罩、10万盒连花清瘟胶囊等近10吨防疫物资的货机从广州白云机场出发飞往英国伦敦，驰援在英留学生、中资企业员工及海外侨胞。
英国是此次受新冠肺炎疫情影响较深的国家，截至当地时间5月4日，英全国累计确诊190584例，死亡28734例。中国同胞的生命安全和身体健康时刻牵动着祖国的心。
按照中央统一部署和广东省委、省政府要求，省政府外事办公室根据在英同胞的实际防疫需要，紧急调集定制了5万只“健康包”，内含医用护理口罩、连花清瘟胶囊、手套等防疫物资。物资抵达后，将经中国驻英国大使馆分发给在英留学生、中资企业员工及海外侨胞，帮助他们平安渡过难关。
据省政府外办介绍，近期广东省将与中国驻英国大使馆合作开展两场视频连线慰问活动，为在英中国同胞和海外侨胞普及抗疫知识，开展医学防护、心理健康等专业指导。
Guangdong “Health Packs” to support compatriots in the UK
In the early morning of April 28th, Beijing time, a freighter carrying nearly 10 tons of anti-epidemic materials from Guangdong, China containing 1 million medical nursing masks and 100,000 boxes of Lianhua Qingwen capsules，departed from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to London England. The anti-epidemic materials are for supporting Chinese students, employees of Chinese companies and overseas Chinese in the UK.
The United Kingdom is one of the countries most affected by the new Coronavirus epidemic. As on the 4th of May , a total of 190584 cases were confirmed and there had been 28734 deaths. The safety, life and health of the overseas Chinese always touches the heart of their motherland.
In accordance with unified arrangement by the Chinese central government and the requirements of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government,Based on the actual needs for prevention of epidemic by the compatriots in the UK , the Foreign Affairs Office of the Provincial Government promptly mobilized 50,000 custom made “health packs” which include medical nursing masks, gloves, Lianhua Qingwen capsules and other anti-epidemic materials. After the materials arrive, the distribution will be made to the Chinese students studying in the UK, the employees of Chinese-funded enterprises and the overseas Chinese by the Chinese Embassy in the UK to help them through the difficult time safely.
The Guangdong Foreign Affairs Office reports that, The Provincial Government of Guangdong Province will co-operate with the Chinese Embassy in the UK to launch two video connections for consolation activities and to popularize anti-epidemic knowledge, provide professional guidance on medical protection and mental health amongst the overseas Chinese and others in the UK.
